Well, 2019 came in while I was sick and I felt like I had a false start there for a while. But soon enough I was back in the swing of things, and we're for sure up and running now! Here's what the new year's brought so far.
Help! I'm a Manager - headed to retail
Officially in limbo as I type - look out for this one on Audible, Amazon and iTunes, especially if you're newly promoted, or are aiming to be!
You’ve spent years training to be an expert in your field. Years hunched over books and articles, writing essays late into the night on the science and art of your chosen profession. Through hard work and determination, alongside lots of experience, you’ve now become pretty good at it. So good in fact, that you have been asked to stop doing it all the time. You’ve been asked to manage a team.
Now, you’ve got to assess people, develop them, write their appraisals and help them to help you, and the business you work for, deliver results.
This is the book that will get you there fast.
By Sue Willcock. Publisher: Chaseville Press

What a year! I'm not going to recap every struggle overcome, and milestone achieved... it's not one of "those" blog posts! Suffice to say I'm definitely looking back in joy and thankfulness, and forward with anticipation! AND I have some fun offerings for you.
New Adaptation of Dickens' A Christmas Carol! Get the hot chocolate and curl up by the fire, or at least snuggle down somewhere comfy and warm, and get transported back in time with this Studio Severn full cast radio theatre production... and you may just notice a familiar voice!
Audio drama is just so much fun to do, I really love to get into character!

It's been a beautiful autumn here in Northern Virginia, the summer rains finally giving way to clear, crisp skies. November of course brought a refocus on Thanksgiving and the joy to be had in the everyday as well as the occasional. In keeping with the theme of change... here's a thing... a blog post from me! Something I certainly didn't think I'd be doing, but I think this is going to be fun! Here's a few highlights from my busy month:
Coming Soon! A sweet romance brought together by coffee and a flower show pageant, with a few thorny patches along the way! Battle of the Flowers will be available on audio soon!
Here's to continued success as we finish the year strong!
